SUMMARY OF PROJECT

Navigating Connection…

Moving to a new country is hard, but finding yourself completely isolated is harder. Today, too many young migrants across Europe are facing intense loneliness. This isolation doesn’t just cause stress and anxiety, it builds invisible walls that lead to exclusion, misunderstanding, and marginalization.

NAV(EU) is here to change that. We are on a mission to break down these walls and build communities where every young person feels seen, valued, and connected.

OUR APPROACH

Empowering the Frontline…

We believe the best way to help young people is to support the mentors already cheering them on.

NAV(EU) focuses on Youth Workers and Educators, the people in daily contact with young migrants. We are equipping them with practical knowledge and fresh tools to tackle isolation once identified, deconstruct the stigma around it, and step in with confidence.

WHAT WE DO?

Three resources for educators across Europe

To create a lasting impact, our project is delivering three major resources.

The “Charting Isolation” Report

A deep-dive study mapping out why and how migrant youth isolation happens in our partner countries, helping us understand the root of the problem.

A Practical Handbook

A go-to guide packed with real-world approaches, step-by-step tools, and success stories that youth workers can use immediately.

An Online Learning Module

A free, accessible digital training course designed to upgrade educators' skills in fostering inclusion and mental well-being.

WHY IT MATTERS?

Connection is a right, not an afterthought

Focusing on Well-Being

We treat social connection as a right, not an afterthought. By focusing on emotional support, we help young migrants build resilience and lasting ties to their new communities.

Empowering with Practical Tools

Youth workers are often overstretched. NAV(EU) is creating a practical handbook and a free online training module packed with culturally sensitive, trauma-aware methods.

A Powerhouse European Partnership

Expert organisations from Belgium, Spain, and the Netherlands combine their strengths to research root causes and build solutions that work across Europe.
